| REVISED FOR THIS YEAR! Antiques and collectibles price lists are accurate for one year, perhaps two. Inflation, changing collector interests, current events and dwindling supplies influence the market. Prices do not rise in an orderly manner. Many books list prices of antiques and collectibles. There are general books like Kovels' Antiques & Collectibles Price List, with 45,000 prices and more than 1,100 photos and drawings. And there are specialized books that picture and price particular collectibles, such as clocks or fruit jars or toys. Listed in this leaflet are price books that could be found in mass-market bookstores between January 2006 and December 2007. Many of the specialized books are hard to find, but they can be ordered from bookstores, on the Internet, or by writing to the publishers. |
